Sharing Stories from Our Team of Registered Dietitians

Thomas Cuisine Foodservice Hear from our Team of RDs

Celebrating Passion for Food and Science

March 9th is Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day, and the whole month of March is National Nutrition Month! Here at Thomas Cuisine, as a foodservice management provider, registered dietitians are valuable team members who ensure our nutrition information is reliable and accurate for clients, patients, residents, and all we serve. It’s common to assume registered dietitians work in a healthcare foodservice setting to help patients with their nutrition, or within senior living communities to help residents meet their dietary needs; but did you know that many of our managers are also registered dietitians?

Dietitians encourage us to eat real, whole-food ingredients to support our overall health and advise on the nutrition behind recipes, which is why our food programs and menus are a collaboration between those we serve, our chefs, and dietitians. The result is great tasting, nutritionally-accountable offerings for any service setting, proving that it’s possible to provide REAL food at any scale.

Registered Dietitians Share Their Stories

To celebrate National Nutrition Month and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day, a few of our RDs are sharing their stories about why they chose their career, what they love most about it, and what they wish we knew about food. Foodservice is a far-reaching vehicle to impact the health of our communities, and we’re honored to be a positive part of each person’s food journey by providing quality café offerings. Hear their stories and insights below!
