Food Management, the premier resource for noncommercial foodservice operators and chefs, has recently released their annual Top 50 Contract Management Companies. In this 2019 edition, they list the 50 largest firms by 2018 revenue that operate dining, catering and other food-related services for clients in venues like schools, colleges, hospitals, senior living facilities, businesses, and sports and entertainment venues.
Two years ago, Thomas Cuisine broke into the Top 20. In the past few years, growth and revenue for the food service company has more than doubled. 2018 saw a 9% increase over the prior year. As a result, Thomas Cuisine has catapulted to be ranked at #15 for 2019 on Food Management’s Top 50 list.
Thomas Cuisine has accomplished this growth while remaining privately-held, competing against companies many times its size. The winning formula for the Thomas Cuisine team has been a focus on customer service and client satisfaction, training and development, and scratch-cooking centered around REAL foods (Robust flavors, Exceptional ingredients, Avoiding additives, and Loaded with nutrients).
Mark Kadell, President and CEO of Thomas Cuisine, shares, “REAL food is the core of who we are and the value we provide our clients and customers. We have a deep service culture, where we always want to provide the best experience, internally and externally. With these guiding principles, we have seen tremendous growth and success, and we are excited for the years ahead.”
