This has been a vision of our President and CEO, Mark Kadell, for several years and it is really taking root!
Grounds & Grains Cafés feature espresso bars that highlight local roasting companies, delicious real-fruit smoothies and nutritious beverages (sorry, no high fructose corn syrup sodas here). On the Grains side, we offer freshly made whole grain items, gluten free options, and healthy, delicious grab ‘n go selections.
This concept is based on a “Whole Foods – Clean Labels” idea; healthy, natural, local and some organic selections. A "whole food" is any unrefined food in its most essential, pure, natural and basic form. Foods with “cleaner labels” are mostly free of artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners and hydrogenated fats.
Our Grounds & Grains Cafés offer whole grain salads and gourmet wraps, organic fruit, hand-made artisan flatbread pizzas and many freshly-made grab ‘n go items. They also offer Blue Sky Natural Sodas, PomWonderful Juice, Zico Coconut Water, and San Pellegrino Sparkling Waters. We are proud to partner with local coffee roasters in each region to provide rich and flavorful home-grown javas and pastries.
