Farm to Table Ideas
As harvest season comes to a close, Flathead cherries, wonderful winter squash, and ancient grains are among the many local delicacies that I use to create countless fresh farm-to-table menus. I am blessed to work as the Executive Chef at the Kalispell Regional Health Center. I feel honored to be able to serve the highest quality ingredients the Flathead Valley has to offer no matter the season. I know, though, that I am not the only one taking advantage of the Flathead's home-grown bounty; many farms are working with local business and restaurant owners as well, allowing restaurants and grocers to offer food options that highlight local farm and ranch products.
